About Craig

Craig Eason spent a period of ten years at sea serving on a range of vessel types, although the majority of this was on oil tankers and LNG vessels. He has been following the greenhouse gas debate grow over the last decade both in an earlier role as a broadcast journalist with the BBC and more recently from the perspective of its impact on the shipping industry in his technology writing in Lloyd’s List, the industry’s leading news provider. Craig will be attending the COP15 debate in Copenhagen and reporting developments throughout the conference.

Richard Meade is Lloyd’s List’s news editor and a regular commentator on the shipping industry’s position within the environmental debate. Having spent the past eight years reporting on the regulation and politics of the industry he is well placed to offer an insight into the developments emanating from Copenhagen and will post regular blogs analysing the impact of decisions for shipping as they happen.
